A well-established, recession-resilient logistics company with a national footprint is seeking a Transportation Manager to lead dispatch operations for a key regional hub. This is a high-impact leadership role within a 24/7 operation, overseeing planning and execution across a large fleet of 200–250 company drivers.

Title: Transportation Manager

Location: Cincinnati, OH area

Why This Role?

• Strategic Ownership: Run the central dispatch function for a critical region. Act as the nerve center connecting field-based Driver Managers, dispatch, planning, and administrative functions.
• Key Industry: Support distribution—stable and essential segments.
• Growth-Driven: Position available due to internal promotions and business expansion.
• Direct Influence: Work cross-functionally with customer stakeholders and internal logistics teams. Heavy customer interaction in a high-visibility position.
• Schedule: Full-time, day shift (approx. 7 AM – 5 PM). Must work at least one weekend day (Sunday–Thursday or Tuesday–Saturday).
• Team Scope: Dotted-line leadership over drivers, load planners, dispatchers, and admin teams.
• Field Collaboration: Work closely with field-based Driver Managers across the region.
• Location: Central U.S. preferred. Candidates must be open to working onsite.
