Job summary

The Arizona Department of Transportation seeks a Transportation Maintenance Management Analyst 2 to provide technical and administrative support to district, middle and upper level managers. You will assist with budgets, project tracking, AMS tasks, and procurement contracts, delivering data-driven insights and improving district performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in public or business administration, finance, social sciences, mathematics or related field.
• Experience in research development, evaluation or revision of programs or procedures.
• Strong budget and cost-estimation knowledge.
• Familiarity with procurement contracts and MMS.
• Ability to communicate and present analyses clearly.

Responsibilities

• Review and monitor budget expenditures to stay within allocated funds.
• Prepare cost estimates of labor, equipment and materials for next fiscal year.
• Document Feasibility studies for privatizing maintenance activities.
• Prepare project documentation to ensure conformance with laws, rules and standards.
• Serve as centralized contact for procurement contracts and MMS.
• Act as Safety Coordinator, coordinate safety activities and audits.
