Qualifications

Job description

• Maintain business relationships with grain elevators, customers, brokers, and logistic providers
• Enter contracts and assist merchandisers with contractual concerns
• Ensure the accuracy of counterparty contracts in relation to price, quantity, and terms - research discrepancies and following through to resolution
• Data entry and management of all commodity shipments and correspondence
• Adhere and enforce compliancy with internal and external controls
• Responsible for accurately tracking shipment positions

Qualifications/Education/Experience/Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related work experience preferred.
• Dedication, flexibility, and teamwork is required
• Ability to work and interact well with others
• Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast paced, high energy environment with minimal supervision
• Ability to multitask while paying close attention to details
• High aptitude for numbers

Special Demands:

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 90% of the time
• Position requires operation of a computer and other standard office equipment, such as a copy machine, calculator, computer printer and phone up to 90% of the time
