Qualifications

• 2+ years of transportation or logistics experience with hands-on LTL and truckload shipping.
• Previous load planning experience.
• Working knowledge of Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate daily LTL and truckload shipments and improve trailer usage.
• Evaluate freight rates, schedule shipments, and select options based on cost and time.
• Monitor utilization, progress, transit times, and appointments for on-time delivery.
• Communicate with carriers, shipping locations, and internal teams to resolve issues.
• Support inbound freight planning when costs are managed internally.
• Collaborate with Customer Service, Supply Chain, Shipping, and IT on discrepancies.
• Manage daily transportation requests and respond to inquiries.
• Build and maintain carrier relationships and set performance expectations.
