Typically 5+ years in supply chain logistics, with leadership experience and proficiency in TMS and Excel, you'll lead cross-functional teams including procurement, sales, and customer service to meet customer requirements and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, operations, business or relevant field.
• 5+ years of supply chain logistics and transportation experience.
• 5 years of team management or supervision experience.
• 3-5 years managing Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
• Advanced data analysis and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities.
• Ability to organize, manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborative mindset with internal and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute all transportation activities across the organization.
• Review contracts and perform rate benchmarking for carrier RFQs.
• Lead deployment, integration, and maintenance of our Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
• Liaise with transportation partners to maintain strong relationships.
• Analyze data to drive cost savings and improve service levels.
• Promote low-cost, high-service distribution networks.
• Lead cross-functional teams to meet customer needs.
• Monitor daily load tracking and weekly reporting.
• Develop carrier and planner scorecards.
• Ensure KPIs are met and report progress; develop improvement actions.
• Conduct carrier business reviews and follow-up actions.
• Create and maintain SOPs with continuous improvement.
• Ensure adequate carrier capacity and manage claims.
• Back up for Director of Transportation and analysts.
• Support food safety and product legality.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
