Job summary

Mohawk Industries, a Fortune 500 global flooring leader, is seeking a logistics planner to work with the Logistics and Capacity team to optimize day-to-day and short-term activities. The role involves guiding internal customers on systems practices and ensuring compliance across departments.

The position requires coordinating with internal teams, managing capacity planning for drivers and plants, and using systems like McLeod, RXO, and Samsara to ensure on-time departures/arrivals.

Qualifications

• AS400 experience preferred.
• Must be fluent in Spanish.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Problem Solver for issues related to order and PAD pricing.
• Act as point of contact for non-standard shipments including multi-stop, driver assist, full truckloads, and expedites.
• Communication: Provide logistics solutions to internal departments (Customer Service, Pricing, Transportation).
• Identify revenue leakage and support solutions to prevent loss opportunities.
• Provide feedback to management on market transportation demands and ensure margin targets are held firm.
• Analyze carrier rates and on-time performance to ensure qualified carriers are used.
• Understand DOT HOS and schedule requirements for on-time delivery.
• Communicate capacity market conditions for all regions across the country.
• Enhance customer experience with scheduled order status updates.
• Analyze freight flow information and determine trends to recommend improvements.
• Manage service reports with departure and arrival status.
• May include other duties as assigned by Management.
