Mohawk Industries is seeking a Transportation Analyst in Georgia to join our in-office Transportation team. You will analyze transportation data, support cost-saving opportunities, and coordinate operations to ensure timely, cost-effective shipments.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 2–4 years of relevant experience, with strong communication and problem-solving skills. You’ll work with multiple departments and external carriers to optimize performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent education/experience.
• 2–4 years of relevant transportation experience.
• Excellent communication, problem solving, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Work on projects as part of the Transportation team.
• Draw from prior experience, interpret facts, and identify incomplete data/anomalies to solve problems.
• Coordinate transportation operations and facilitate timely shipments.
• Manage fleet and carrier compliance with DOT and other agencies.
• Coordinate across internal departments and external resources to deliver shipments cost-effectively.
• Perform analyses, conduct research, and draw conclusions on transportation tasks.
• Negotiate with vendors, carriers, and contractors on price and terms.
• Assist with cost-saving opportunities such as reducing unnecessary costs (detention, demurrage).
• Potentially support vendor payments for OTR department.
• Schedule preventative equipment maintenance and track orders as needed.
• Perform other duties as defined by the designated department.
