Job summary

gpac is partnering with a premier engineering firm to hire a Transportation Lead in Sioux Falls, SD. The role focuses on managing complex DOT transportation projects, client engagement, and strategic growth within the public sector.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of transportation experience, a B.S. in Civil Engineering, and is open to occasional travel across South Dakota. PE license is preferred and public speaking at events is valued.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of transportation experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• PE license preferred.
• Willingness to travel occasionally across South Dakota.
• Comfortable speaking at client and public events.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects, prepare and monitor budgets, project scheduling.
• Perform business development to maintain and grow our relationship with the DOT clients and teaming partners.
• Participate at DOT workshops, meetings, and events.
• Provide support and project lead for planning, design, and reporting on various transportation projects.
• Manage project teams, schedules, and budgets for various projects, primarily for DOT.
