Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in a distribution or warehouse environment.
• Prior experience supervising or leading teams preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Certified on powered industrial equipment, where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day activities for the assigned department and staff.
• Coach, develop, and hold associates accountable through performance planning.
• Partner with Receiving, Shipping, Transportation, and Inventory Management.
• Monitor daily staffing levels and adjust resources to meet production demands.
• Enforce company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures.
• Hold departmental meetings and coordinate with other departments.
• Identify waste and inefficiencies and recommend process improvements.
• Help achieve departmental operational and budget goals.

Skills

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Proven leadership and conflict resolution skills

Familiarity with distribution center operations

Basic understanding of business and financial reports

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
