Job summary

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) invites students to join District Four as a DOT Intern – Right of Way. This internship offers exposure to transportation planning, engineering, and the agency's operations while shadowing subject matter experts.

You will gain knowledge across tracks—Engineering, Transportation, Business, and Self-Designed—working on real tasks, interacting with leadership, and supporting initiatives to improve safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen years old.
• Actively enrolled in an accredited university, college, or vocational/technical school for the duration of participation.
• Pursuing studies in transportation, planning, public administration, engineering, or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Gain knowledge and experience in the Transportation Industry; assist across departments.
• Interact with leadership, project managers, interns and external partners; contribute to agency goals.
• Participate in team projects and drive organizational change within the agency.
