Garver is seeking a Civil Engineering Intern to join the Oklahoma City Metro team for an in-office internship focused on bridge design, rehabilitation, and inspection. You will be mentored by a dynamic team and exposed to steel and reinforced concrete design, plans development, and site visits.

The role emphasizes learning AASHTO LRFD standards, Bentley MicroStation, and collaboration with a dedicated design team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Must be pursuing a civil engineering degree from an ABET accredited program.
  • Strong interest in structural design.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong team player with commitment to becoming a key member of this highly productive design team.

Responsibilities

  • Further develop skills learned in the classroom by participating in the design of steel and reinforced concrete structures.

Transportation Intern - Bridge

Our experienced, fast-paced Oklahoma City Bridge Team is seeking a civil engineering student for an internship. This intern will be mentored by our dynamic team and exposed to many aspects of bridge design, bridge rehabilitation and replacement, and inspection for a variety of projects.

Internship Description
  • Further develop skills learned in the classroom by participating in the design of steel and reinforced concrete structures

Work Environment

This is an in-office position; duties and responsibilities are generally performed in an office setting. Occasional travel to offsite locations to perform work and work‑related tasks or to attend meetings may be required.
