Job summary

HNTB is seeking Intern Engineers for our East Florida office to assist engineering teams across Traffic & Planning, Roadway, Structures, Drainage, Rail, and Construction. This internship emphasizes basic engineering tasks aligned with post-secondary curricula.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in an accredited engineering program and have basic math, drawing, and software skills, with interest in transportation infrastructure and a collaborative mindset.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent plus current enrollment in an accredited post-secondary engineering program
• Completion of 2 years of post-secondary engineering program
• AutoCAD and/or MicroStation experience
• Strong interest in transportation and infrastructure

Responsibilities

• Assists engineer teams in various tasks and duties.
• Assists Engineer with research, development and design of projects.
• Assists Engineer with the preparation of engineering drawings and documents as assigned.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
