Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or similar field.
• EIT certification preferred.

• Strong analytical and technical writing skills.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments in a team environment.
• Experience in hydrology/hydraulics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support planning and design of roadway, highway, bridge, transit, aviation, and water resources projects.
• Perform hydrologic and hydraulic analyses, including drainage design, stormwater management, floodplain modeling, bridge hydraulics, and scour evaluations.
• Prepare engineering calculations, technical reports, drainage maps, and design documentation.
• Develop plans, specifications, and construction cost estimates using BIM/CADD platforms.
• Assist with permitting and regulatory compliance efforts.
• Participate in site visits, field investigations, and drainage assessments.
• Support river and stream restoration, flood risk reduction, and watershed management projects.
• Collaborate with project engineers and multidisciplinary teams to deliver solutions for municipal, state, and federal clients.
