Job summary

Lamp Rynearson is seeking a Transportation Group Leader for our Omaha office. You will develop and execute strategic direction for Federal, Aviation, and Traffic & Roadway market sectors, and provide operational oversight for the group.

You’ll manage client relationships and mentor and grow group talent to deliver enduring community improvements. Ideal candidates hold a PE license in Nebraska, a civil engineering degree, and 10+ years in transportation markets, with strong leadership,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (ABET accredited)
• Registered Professional Engineer in the State of Nebraska
• 10+ years in Federal, Aviation, and/or Transportation markets
• Strategic thinking and ability to implement long-range plans
• Proven ability to manage, coach, and mentor team members
• Proven ability to establish and maintain client relationships
• Strong financial acumen and knowledge of KPIs
• Knowledge of local, state and federal regulations and permitting processes
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to delegate work effectively
• Strong track record of successfully managing projects

As the leader of this team, you would be responsible for developing and executing strategy and providing operational oversight and leadership for the Group. Responsibilities include overseeing Federal, Aviation, and Traffic and Roadway market sectors, managing client relationships, and developing Group talent.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited college or university
• Registered Professional Engineer in the State of Nebraska
• A minimum of 10 years’ experience in Federal, Aviation, and/or Transportation markets
• Strategic thinking skills and ability to implement long range plans

• Strong financial acumen and knowledge of key performance indicators
