Job summary

Worley seeks an experienced Foreperson to oversee daily parking lot operations and direct attendants. You will manage vehicle movements, enforce safety measures, and coordinate with other departments to maintain efficient, secure parking services.

Responsibilities include staff scheduling, training, reporting on safety and performance, and addressing customer inquiries while upholding company policies. A background in industrial construction, maintenance, or logistics is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years industrial construction, maintenance, or transportation/logistics experience.
  • NCCER Certified Plus preferred.
  • Supervisory experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of traffic flow management and safety protocols.
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • OSHA 30 preferred but not required.

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of lot attendants and provide guidance.
  • Direct and monitor vehicle movements to prevent congestion and ensure safety.
  • Implement and adjust traffic control measures to optimize operations.
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate performance of lot attendants.
  • Create and manage staff schedules for peak hours and events.
  • Enforce safety regulations and procedures for staff and patrons.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify hazards or maintenance needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of occupancy and incidents in the facility.
  • Prepare daily operational reports and propose improvements.
  • Coordinate with other departments and external agencies as needed.
  • Serve as the main contact for parking-related issues or emergencies.

Position Summary

The foreperson must have the ability to direct employees; review and interpret drawings specifications; directs employees/crew so that work meets requirements; be familiar with jobsite safety plan; enforce safe practices; conduct training in safety; be familiar with work assigned and ensure that all work meets or exceeds the standards; prepare and submit timesheets, safety reports, quality and quantity reports, and other required reports; plan work; take responsibility and accountability for their crew; motivate employees; and support his/her immediate supervisor in any possible manner to effectively perform their duties.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily operations of the parking lot, ensuring efficient traffic flow and maximizing parking space usage.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of lot attendants, providing guidance and support to ensure effective performance.
  • Direct and monitor vehicle movements in the parking lot to prevent congestion and ensure a safe environment for both vehicles and pedestrian
  • Implement and adjust traffic control measures, such as signage and barriers, to optimize parking lot operations.
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate the performance of lot attendants, encouraging professional development and adherence to safety practices.
  • Create and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours and special events.
  • Enforce safety regulations and procedures among staff and patrons, ensuring compliance with local laws and organizational policies.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the parking lot, identifying and addressing safety hazards or maintenance needs.
  • Ensure that lot attendants provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries, concerns, and assisting with parking needs in a professional manner.
  • Handle customer complaints and resolve issues effectively to enhance the overall user experience.
  • Maintain accurate records related to parking lot occupancy, and any incidents that occur within the parking facility.
  • Prepare daily operational reports and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and service quality.
  • Coordinate with other departments, management, and external agencies when necessary to ensure seamless operations.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for any parking-related issues or emergencies.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years industrial construction, maintenance, or Transportation/logistics Industry (CDL a Plus) experience
  • NCCER Certified Plus (Preferred)
  • Supervisory experience (Preferred)
  • Strong understanding of traffic flow management and safety protocols
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
