Job summary

Covenant Logistics is seeking an entry-level Fleet Manager to bridge operations between drivers, customers, and the organization in Columbus, OH. You will coach drivers, monitor performance, and help meet service and safety goals while coordinating day-to-day fleet activity.

Responsibilities include tracking trucks, managing home time, handling load changes, and maintaining data in AS400/TMW systems. A fast-paced, self-motivated individual with strong communication skills is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics or related field preferred.
• AS400 and/or TMW experience preferred but not required.
• 0-3 years management or leadership experience.
• Transportation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage dedicated fleet of professional drivers.
• Coordinate communications with customers regarding fleet activity.
• Track and trace trucks; manage ETAs/PTAs and load confirmations.
• Maintain driver performance, safety, and compliance with DOT/HOS.
• Assist with payroll needs, advances, and fuel issues.
• Update AS400 and/or TMW data accurately.
