The position requires at least a high school diploma or GED and one year of administrative experience. Substitutions and experience in transportation coordination are considered.

Qualifications

  • Education: Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate.
  • Experience: One year of administrative staff or professional work.
  • Substitution: 30 college credit hours from an accredited college or university may be substituted for the required experience.
  • Substitution: U.S. Armed Forces military service as a commissioned officer with staff work may substitute for the required experience.
  • Preferred: Experience supervising administrative or program staff.
  • Preferred: Experience managing or coordinating a transportation program including scheduling, client eligibility, vehicle assignments, or specialized medical transportation.
  • Experience managing an organizational vehicle fleet including maintenance, mileage reporting, insurance claims, accident reporting, or vehicle-use records.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise the Agency's General Transportation program and Fleet Services.
  • Provide support services to all divisions of the Health Department.
