Job summary

W3Global client is seeking a Transportation Manager to lead a feed mill's truck/trailer shop. You will oversee customer service, driver management, and all truck and trailer operations. The role requires hands-on leadership in a 24/7 environment, heavy dispatching, and compliance with FMCSA/DOT guidelines.

A college degree is preferred and prior trucking experience is recommended. This is a full-time position based in Dallas, TX with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience managing a truck/trailer shop.
• Experience in trucking industry and knowledge of trucking regulations.
• Customer service experience desired.
• Heavy dispatching experience required.

Responsibilities

• Back up to the PM or GM when off-site or on vacation.
• Back up to the office manager for duties: handling customer calls, payroll, data entry, and loading documentation.
• Ensure daily input of all raw material, finished feed, and supplement loads.
• Coordinate driver management and service in a 24/7 environment.
