The Transportation Financial Trainee serves at the trainee level, training toward the ability to work at a full performance level in accounting support duties. This position will serve in the Federal Aid Section. Job assignments are designed to develop familiarity with basic accounting and office procedures, including calculating, coding, reviewing, and sorting. Performs related work as required.

Typical Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for electronic files
• Types a variety of documents from verbal or written instructions
• Operates office equipment such as a computer, adding machine, copier, or other office equipment
• Data entry to support Federal Aid
• Update and maintain tracking sheets
