The State of Connecticut, Department of Transportation (CTDOT), seeks a Bureau Chief of Finance and Administration in Newington, CT. The role leads about 350 professionals across five offices, directing financial, facilities, workforce development, and administrative functions that support CTDOT’s multimodal transportation program.

The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership, ensure fiscal accountability and regulatory compliance, and collaborate with the Commissioner and Office

Formación

• Ten years in fiscal/administrative functions.
• Three years in a large-scale finance or administrative program in a managerial capacity.
• College training may substitute for up to four years of experience; a Master’s degree may substitute for one additional year of general experience.

Responsabilidades

• Administers staff and operations of the bureau.
• Develops, implements, and evaluates bureau policies, goals, and objectives to meet department needs.
• Directs financial planning, control and analysis, budget preparation, and performance monitoring.
• Provides fiscal and administrative advice to the Commissioners; liaises with Office of Policy and Management.
