• Investigates service requests, complaints and suggestions and schedules actions with the Resident Maintenance Engineer
• Plans, coordinates, and schedules maintenance work across ditching, shoulder work, vegetation management, drainage structures, signing and marking, pavement repairs, and base repairs
• Supervises foreman and crew members in daily tasks
• Performs field inspections of roads, bridges, and right of ways
• Enforces departmental rules, regulations, and safety policies
• Recommends requisitions for supplies, equipment, and contract work
