The Lincoln Transportation and Utilities (LTU) team provides transit, transportation, and utilities services year-round to the citizens of Lincoln. Nearly 600 team members make up LTU. We are seeking a Transportation Equipment Operator I to join our team. Responsibilities include operating equipment used in routine maintenance and repair of public infrastructure.

Note: This is a safety-sensitive position subject to mandatory drug testing policies.

Location: West District; 901 W Bond St - Drainage

Hours:

• Regular Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. - 4 p.m. (may include overtime during emergencies)
• Summer Schedule (Memorial Day to Labor Day): Monday through Thursday, 6 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. (seasonal needs may vary)

Qualifications: Graduation from high school or equivalent, plus six months of experience operating trucks and construction equipment heavier than pleasure vehicles or pickup trucks, and six months of general construction experience; or an equivalent combination of training and experience demonstrating the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Necessary Special Requirements:

• Possession of a valid driver's license.
• Possession of a valid CDL with endorsements, or the ability to obtain within 60 days of employment.
