Job summary

Felsburg Holt & Ullevig, Inc. (FHU) seeks a Mid-Level Project Manager to join our Sioux Falls, SD office.

You will support planning, execution, and delivery of transportation engineering projects, coordinating with internal teams and clients to keep projects on time and within budget. Ideal candidates have a civil engineering degree, 5–10 years of project management experience in roadway or related transportation design, and proficiency with MicroStation InRoads/OpenRoads or AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from an accredited four-year college or university.
• 5–10 years of experience in project management within engineering, including roadway, highway, interchange, or related transportation design projects.
• Experience with MicroStation InRoads/OpenRoads and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D, with emphasis on surface modeling.
• EI required; PE (or ability to obtain) preferred.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Responsibilities

Position Overview

Requirements

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects while maintaining schedules and budgets
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including use of Microsoft Office tools
• Ability to present information clearly to team members and clients
• Experience supporting development of roadway plans, specifications, and cost estimates
• EI required; PE (or ability to obtain) preferred
• Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment

The pay for this position has a range of $85,000 - $120,000 annually. The actual offer will carefully consider a range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, and experience.
