Job summary

Virginia Department of Transportation seeks a project management professional to plan, organize, monitor and direct multi-disciplinary transportation projects. You will ensure on-time, on-budget delivery, provide engineering guidance, and support program areas with analyses and recommendations.

You will communicate with internal staff, local governments, consultants and FHWA, overseeing teams and ensuring compliance with policies and standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
• Experience planning, coordinating and managing multiple projects and contracts.
• Engineering experience related to transportation design, construction and project development.

Responsibilities
