Job summary

Dewberry is seeking a Transportation Engineering Intern for Summer 2027 in our Orlando, FL office. This internship offers growth opportunities and exposure to a broad range of transportation projects for local and national clients.

Qualified students are pursuing a Civil Engineering degree with transportation emphasis, with internship experience and strong communication skills preferred. CADD experience and MS Office proficiency are assets.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (with emphasis in transportation preferred).
• Previous internship experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience using CADD (MicroStation or AutoCAD) a plus.
• Proficiency in MS Office software.
• Desire to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Developing and evaluating engineering solutions
• Preparing design calculations, quantities, cost estimates, and drawings
• Assisting with various studies and documenting results
• Adherence to assigned project schedules and budgets
• Writing internalcommunications
• Performing other duties as assigned
