Job summary

Dewberry is seeking a Site/Civil Engineering Intern for Summer 2027 in our Orlando, FL office. The role offers exposure to site/civil development across residential, commercial, industrial, and governmental projects.

You will work with experienced engineers on design, calculations, field activities, and project deliverables while developing technical and communication skills in a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a B.S. or M.S. in Civil Engineering.
• Internship experience preferred.
• Experience with WaterGEMS and SewerGEMS.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MS Office.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist site/civil engineering design including grading and roadway design.
• Prepare calculations, reports and spreadsheets for projects.
• Participate in fieldwork activities and site visits.
• Collaborate with project teams to develop construction documents.
• Contribute to technical specifications and permitting documentation.
