Job summary

Fishbeck, headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio, invites aspiring Civil Engineers to join as Transportation Engineering Intern for Summer 2027. You will assist in designing roads, bridges, and civil infrastructure for DOT and municipal clients from our regional Ohio offices.

You will create design drawings using AutoCAD and OpenRoads Designer, support engineers with calculations, and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to manage project deliverables while gaining real-world project experience

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited Civil Engineering program.
• Eager to learn and contribute to meaningful projects.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD or OpenRoads Designer is a plus.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Location: Regional Ohio Offices

Employment Type: Full-Time Internship

Working with our Transportation team, you will assist in the design of bridges, roads, and other civil projects for the DOT.

What You’ll Do

• Assist in designing roads, bridges, and civil infrastructure for DOT and municipal clients.
• Create design drawings using AutoCAD and OpenRoads Designer.
• Support engineers with calculations and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams across offices.
• Participate in solving real engineering challenges and managing project deliverables.

What We’re Looking For

• Currently enrolled in an accredited Civil Engineering program.
