Job summary

Woolpert seeks Transportation Engineering Interns for Spring 2027 in Ohio offices (Dayton, Columbus, Cincinnati). This full-time internship (40 hours/week) provides real-world project work alongside licensed engineers across traffic, roadway, bridges, and planning, with substantial in-office time.

You will use Civil 3D and OpenRoads Designer, assist with analysis, design, plan production and cost estimation, and collaborate with internal teams and external subconsultants.

Qualifications

• Enrolled as a student pursuing a Civil Engineering degree.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Willing to relocate to Ohio and split time between offices.
• In-office work expected for at least 2 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Support Transportation team on projects across traffic, roadway, bridges, and planning.
• Assist with analysis, design, plan production and cost estimation.
• Utilize Civil 3D and OpenRoads Designer and related programs.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external subconsultants and clients.
