Job summary

STV, Inc. is seeking a Transportation Intern to join our Transportation team. This hybrid role requires at least 3 days in the office weekly and favors candidates available for at least 3 months, with full-time work during the internship.

You will collaborate with senior and junior designers on transit, pedestrian, roadway, and bridge projects, gaining exposure to STV's organizational structure and various software tools while contributing to project success.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Civil or Structural engineering degree at an ABET-accredited school.
• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Strong interest in transportation engineering.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of drawings and specifications using MicroStation or Open Roads Designer for transportation infrastructure projects.
• Format reports and specifications to support project documentation.
• Support file management of project electronic documents, including printing and scanning as required.
• Gain practical experience and broad exposure to STV's organizational structure through diverse assignments.
• Utilize company-wide and department-specific software to complete various tasks.
• Engage in specific activities tailored to your assignments, contributing to project success.
