Job summary

Bartlett & West is offering a Transportation-focused engineering internship, providing hands-on experience in a collaborative, employee-owned firm with exposure to the company’s core values.

You will engage in on-the-job training across engineering activities, assist in plan development with engineers, perform basic drafting, and observe survey and field testing processes both in the office and in the field.

Responsibilities

• On-the-job training for a variety of engineering activities.
• Working with engineer or higher level technician in full plan development.
• Performing routine tasks to gain experience with engineering staff, methods, practices and programs.
• Learning on the job about survey activities and GPS/conventional survey equipment.
• Field tests and general construction observation processes and procedures.
