Job summary

Consor is seeking a Transportation Engineer to support a wide range of transportation engineering projects, including ITS, connected vehicle tech, traffic signal design, and traffic studies. You will contribute to design development, plan production, technical analysis, and report writing under licensed engineers.

The role offers a hybrid work arrangement with opportunities for growth, mentorship, and exposure to innovative transportation technologies within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• 0-4+ years of transportation engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or ability to obtain shortly after hire.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Model and analyze transportation systems and traffic operations
• Collect and process data for traffic studies
• Support the development of traffic, and ITS design packages for transportation projects
• Prepare CADD designs and assist with plan production
• Develop project specifications and cost estimates
• Perform engineering calculations and technical analyses
• Assist in the preparation of technical reports and documentation
• Follow internal quality control procedures to ensure high-quality deliverables
• Collaborate effectively with team members and maintain strong working relationships
• Work under the direction and mentorship of a licensed Professional Engineer (PE)
