(AMT) is seeking a highly motivated and diverse Transportation Engineer Intern (STEM - Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) to join us in our Columbus, OH office for the 2027 internship period. This is a paid full-time position with anticipated duration from May through August 2027 (flexible) and has the potential to transition into a Full-Time Junior Engineer Role upon graduation.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Bachelor or Associate Degree in Civil/Transportation Engineering or related field.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Solid technical and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated, detail oriented person.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point).
• Honest, fun, hard-working and ready to learn and grow.

Responsibilities

• Support various project tasks including regulatory requirements/reviews, cost estimates, research, procurement support, etc;
• Perform data entry, management, evaluation, and presentation;
• Support the preparation of reports, plans, and specifications for clients;
• May work on field assignments as needed;
• Will be supported by leaders, mentors, and teammates; and
• Perform other related duties and responsibilities as necessary
