Job summary

AMT, A. Morton Thomas and Associates, Inc., seeks a Transportation Engineer Intern for our Parkersburg, WV office for the 2027 internship period (May to August 2027, paid full-time). Potential to transition into a Full-Time Junior Engineer role after graduation.

You will work under the supervision of Project Managers and Team Leaders with partnerships across engineering staff. Ideal candidates are pursuing Civil/Transportation Engineering or related fields, with a minimum GPA of 3.0, strong

Qualifications

• Pursuing Bachelor's or Associate Degree in Civil/Transportation Engineering or related field.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Must be at least 18 years old and able to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Support various project tasks including regulatory requirements/reviews, cost estimates, research, procurement support.
• Perform data entry, management, evaluation, and presentation.
• Support the preparation of reports, plans, and specifications for clients.
• May work on field assignments as needed.
• Will be mentored by project leaders and team members.
• Perform other related duties as necessary.
