A. Morton Thomas and Associates, Inc. (AMT) seeks a Transportation Engineer Intern (STEM - Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) for the Parkersburg, WV office for the 2027 internship period.

This paid full-time position runs May through August 2027 (flexible) and may transition into a Full-Time Junior Engineer Role upon graduation. You will work under Project Managers and Team Leaders with mentoring and collaboration from other engineering staff, supporting various project tasks and client

Qualifications

• Pursuing Bachelor or Associate Degree in Civil/Transportation Engineering or related field.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 and strong verbal/written communication skills.
• Self-motivated, detail oriented with basic technical/problem-solving abilities.

Responsabilités

• Support regulatory requirements, cost estimates, research, procurement support.
• Perform data entry, management, evaluation, and presentation.
• Assist in preparing reports, plans, and specifications for clients.
• May participate in field assignments as needed.
