Apex Companies, LLC. is seeking a Transportation Engineer to join our Florida team on a variety of roadway, drainage, multimodal, and public infrastructure projects for FDOT and local government clients.

You’ll contribute to concept through construction and deliver practical, cost-effective transportation solutions. You’ll collaborate with project managers, designers, surveyors, environmental professionals, and agency representatives to ensure quality outcomes while advancing your career toward

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• EI certification or PE license depending on experience.
• Experience with transportation, roadway, drainage, or municipal infrastructure projects.
• Working knowledge of FDOT standards and design practices.
• Experience with OpenRoads Designer and MicroStation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare roadway, drainage, and transportation design plans.
• Develop calculations, quantities, estimates, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with utilities, permitting agencies, and project stakeholders.
• Participate in field reviews, constructability evaluations, and quality control reviews.
• Assist with proposal development and client support efforts.
