Job summary

Apex Companies is seeking a Transportation Engineer to join our Florida transportation team. You will work on roadway, drainage, multimodal and public infrastructure projects for FDOT and local governments across the state.

In this role you will collaborate with project managers, designers, surveyors, and environmental professionals to deliver practical, cost-effective transportation solutions from concept through construction.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Experience with transportation, roadway, drainage, or municipal infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare roadway, drainage, and transportation design plans.
• Develop calculations, quantities, estimates, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with utilities, permitting agencies, and project stakeholders.
• Participate in field reviews, constructability evaluations, and quality control reviews.
• Assist with proposal development and client support efforts.
