Job summary

AMT Engineering in Columbus, OH seeks a Transportation Engineer with a minimum of 5 years' experience. You will support a variety of transportation projects, performing alignment design, modeling, and traffic plans. Hybrid work (2-3 days in-office) is offered with flexibility for remote work on other days.

Requirements include a BS in Civil Engineering (ABET) and Ohio PE licensure or ability to obtain within 6 months. Prior experience with ORD/MicroStation is preferred.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited BS in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years relevant experience.
• Ohio PE licensure required or within 6 months of hire.
• Knowledge of civil design concepts for roadway projects.
• Experience with road design standards and cost estimates.

Responsibilities

• Data collection and condition/alternative analyses for reports.
• Develop horizontal and vertical alignments; cross-section and superelevation design.
• Design roadside barriers and ADA curb ramps; roadway modeling.
• Prepare MOT/traffic-related plans and related documents.
