Qualifications

• Background in traffic engineering and project management.
• BS in Civil Engineering.
• 5–8+ years of professional transportation engineering and/or planning experience.
• PE licensure in NC or ability to obtain within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Task Manager or Project Manager on traffic engineering and planning projects.
• Prepare and/or lead traffic impact and safety studies.
• Complete traffic operational improvement studies for localized intersections and corridors.
• Provide analyses of traffic safety issues and crash reduction measures.
• Develop mobility solutions with Complete Street concepts for urban/suburban areas.
• Perform field work for signal, road safety audits, and related assignments.
• Prepare reports and present findings to agencies and clients.
• Develop analyses and reports aligned with NCDOT policies and practices.
