Job summary

State-of-West-Virgini is seeking a licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in West Virginia or with comity to obtain WV registration within 6 months. The position requires a ABET-accredited bachelor's degree in civil, electrical, mechanical, industrial, petroleum, mining, environmental, or a related engineering field.

The ideal candidate has six or more years of progressive civil engineering experience; travel and a valid driver’s license are required.

TRAINING/EDUCATION

• Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the State of West Virginia (or licensed in another state with the ability to obtain WV P.E. registration by comity within 6 months of hire)

• Bachelor’s degree in civil, electrical, mechanical, industrial, petroleum, mining, environmental, engineering technology, or a related engineering field from an ABET-accredited program.

RECOMMENDED EXPERIENCE

• Six + (6) years of progressive, professional civil engineering experience.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENT

Travel may be required; therefore, a valid driver’s license is required.

Preferred experience: At least one (1) year of post-licensure experience performing complex design/construction management or supervisory engineering duties.
