  • Validate transport configurations including SPMTs, hydraulic trailers, rail, and barge solutions.
  • Develop transport engineering drawings using tools such as AutoCAD, GIS, and Excel models.
  • Review and approve vendor engineering including rigging, grillage, seafastening, and lift plans.
  • Lead or support field execution of loadouts, heavy transport, and installation activities.
  • Validate site conditions including obstructions, ground conditions, and environmental factors.
  • Coordinate with transport vendors, crane teams, port operators, and field crews.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve field execution challenges in real-time.
  • Ensure adherence to safety procedures, lift plans, and method statements during operations.

  • Support project scheduling, sequencing, and logistics planning efforts.
  • Evaluate carrier equipment, fleet capability, and maintenance compliance.
  • Capture lessons learned and contribute to continuous improvement of engineering standards.
  • Develop standard tools, calculation methods, and engineering procedures.
  • Support HSE initiatives and maintain consistent safety standards across operations.
Requirements

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in heavy haul, project logistics, or transport engineering.
  • Direct experience with heavy-lift equipment such as SPMTs, hydraulic trailers, cranes, and barges.
  • Strong understanding of structural and transport engineering principles.
  • Experience conducting route surveys, permitting, and transport coordination.
  • Proficiency with engineering tools such as AutoCAD, GIS, and Excel.
  • Ability to translate engineering concepts into field-executable plans.
  • Strong problem-solving skills in high-pressure environments.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills across technical and field teams.
  • Ability to travel extensively (20–40%) and support field operations.
  • Preferred: experience in power generation, EPC projects, or industrial logistics.
  • Preferred: experience with port operations, heavy lift systems, or 3D modeling tools.
Why Should You Apply?
  • Excellent Benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision & 401K Matching).
  • Opportunity to work on complex, large-scale power generation logistics projects.
  • Hands-on field execution combined with technical engineering responsibilities.
