Salary : Varies based on Years of Experience (see below)

Level 5 – 120-140k (at least 7 years experience, PE required)

Level 6 – $140-160k (at least 10 years experience, PE required)

JOB DESCRIPTION

Insight Global is seeking to hire a Roadway Design Engineer for a client supporting multiple state DOT projects in the Northeastern United States. The ideal candidate will utilize advanced design software, including OpenRoads, to develop and implement efficient and effective roadway and drainage solutions, both new and upgraded roadway systems in urban and rural areas. Responsibilities include preparing design plans, conducting site assessments, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations. Strong analytical skills and experience in civil engineering design are essential for this role.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Transportation, Structural or Mechanical Engineering

Experience with roadway design projects Experience supporting projects for Department of Transportation (DOT)

Experience working with roadway design software (OpenRoads, GEOPAK, or others)

PE (Professional Engineering License) in Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Connecticut, Michigan and / or other states in the Northeast US or willing to transfer license to the state they will be working in

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Experience with drainage design projects.

Multi state PE (Professional Engineer) license.
