Job summary

HDR, Inc. in Raleigh, NC, is seeking a Transportation EIT/Engineer to join our Transportation Business Group. You will work on detailed design of urban and rural roadway projects as part of a project engineer team.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, an EIT, and experience with MicroStation and AutoCAD; familiarity with Open Roads Designer is a plus. Local candidates are preferred; full-time position with strong growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate is required.
• Proficiency with MicroStation and/or AutoCAD; familiarity with Open Roads Designer.

Responsibilities

• Work on a team with project engineers on detailed roadway design for urban and rural projects.
• Develop plans for Mobility and Safety projects including TMDs, Traffic Control, Signals, Pavement Markings, and Signing.
• Assist with technical reports, quantities, cost estimates, specifications and calculations.
• Assist with other roadway design projects as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
