Job summary

The NEEDS Center in Beverly, MA is seeking a Transportation Driver to support day programs for individuals with developmental disabilities. This 30-hour/week position has shifts from 7am–10am and 2pm–5pm, with potential to extend to full-time. You will drive company vans, assist riders, and help ensure timely, safe transport.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transporting individuals to and from Day Programs in company-owned vehicles.
• Assisting individuals in and out of vehicles.
• Following routes and maintaining timetables.
• Maintaining a safe driving record and complying with transportation laws.

Transportation Driver - Work 30 hours per week!

Transportation Driver - No special license needed

Now offering a $1000 sign-on bonus ($500 upon hire and $500 after 6 months of employment) to hired candidates. (Based on hours worked)

The NEEDS Center is looking for van drivers to transport people with disabilities to-and-from our Day Center Programs located in Tewksbury, MA, Beverly, MA and Rowley, MA

• You will be driving NEEDS Center company vans and cars.
• Schedule is 30 hrs per week
• Work hours for these positions are primarily: 7am-10am and 2pm-5pm daily.
• Positions can also be extended to full-time positions for qualified applicants, if desired, by working with individuals in our day programs during program hours.
• All you need is a regular driver's license and a good driving record.

Pay: $20/hr

Responsibilities Include:

• Transporting individuals to and from NEEDS Center Day Programs in company-owned vehicles
• Assisting individuals in and out of the vehicles
• Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules
• Abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record

Qualifications Include:

• You must have a good driving record with at least 3 years of driving history that can be confirmed
• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent, Bachelors Degree preferred.
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities (preferred, but not necessary)

The NEEDS Center specializes in providing services and support to individuals with developmental disabilities, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). There is a particular emphasis on providing services to individuals with interfering challenging behavior and/or dual diagnosis. The NEEDS Center’s philosophy is rooted in the tenets of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), and Positive Behavior Support (PSB).
