Sunrise Manor in Amelia, Ohio seeks a dedicated Driver/Transportation Coordinator (Full-Time, STNA required) to safely transport residents to medical appointments, outings, and facility activities while delivering courteous, professional service.

You will coordinate schedules, operate vehicles safely, assist residents in and out of vehicles, perform basic vehicle checks, keep trip records, and communicate clearly with residents, families, and staff.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Current STNA certification required.
• Experience as a driver or in healthcare transportation preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

As a Driver/Transportation Coordinator, you'll play a vital role in safely transporting residents to medical appointments, social outings, and facility-related activities while delivering courteous, professional service.

Key Responsibilities

• Schedule and coordinate transportation for residents to medical appointments, social events, and other outings


• Safely operate company vehicles in compliance with all traffic laws and facility policies


• Assist residents in and out of vehicles, ensuring comfort, dignity, and safety at all times


• Perform basic vehicle checks and coordinate routine maintenance to keep vehicles in safe working order


• Maintain accurate records of trips, schedules, mileage, and vehicle maintenance


• Communicate professionally with residents, families, and staff to confirm and update transportation needs


• Follow all healthcare, infection control, and transportation regulations and policies

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record


• Current STNA (State Tested Nursing Assistant) certification required


• Previous experience as a driver, transportation aide, or similar role in healthcare preferred
