Eagle Pointe Skilled Nursing & Rehab Center in Ohio is hiring a Transportation Driver (STNA) to safely transport residents to appointments and assist with basic care when needed.

The role offers full-time day shifts, competitive base pay with bonuses up to $22.29 per hour, plus benefits and ongoing training. Ideal candidates hold an OH STNA certification, a valid driver’s license, and can lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Must hold OH STNA certification.
• Valid Ohio driver’s license with clean driving record.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Strong communication and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Transport residents to medical appointments, dialysis, and other approved outings using facility vehicles.
• Provide physical assistance and use proper transfer techniques to help residents in and out of vehicles.
• Ensure wheelchair-bound residents are properly secured.
• Maintain daily vehicle inspection logs and notify maintenance of issues.
• Assist nursing staff with resident care duties when not driving (ADLs, ambulation, toileting, etc.).
• Maintain accurate transport records and documentation.
• Comply with HIPAA and infection control standards at all times.

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable STNA Transportation Driver to join our team at Eagle Pointe. This dual-role position involves providing transportation services for our residents and assisting with basic care as a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) when needed. The ideal candidate will ensure residents are transported safely and respectfully while upholding our standards of care.
