Job summary

The Center at Lincoln in Parker, CO is looking for a Transport Driver to join our team. You will safely transport facility residents to appointments and provide quality customer service, helping set the tone for the care residents receive.

Daily duties include coordinating with nursing staff, entering appointment details, selecting routes, and maintaining equipment to ensure a safe, secure environment. Day shift opportunities and hospital transport experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transport Driver Reviews patient information prior to appointment in order to determine patient needs. Verifies all information with nursing staff as necessary.
• Implements customer-service standards, resolves problems, and determines & completes patient transportation system improvements.
• Transport Driver Stays with patient at appointments to provide assistance upon request.
• Enters orders for appointments and transportation and retrieves/sends diagnostic labs needed for appointment.
• Determines best route to and from appointments prior to the departing time, along with equipment required to load and unload patient.
• Keeps equipment operating by establishing and enforcing operating and preventative maintenance rules; arranges for repairs, oil changes, etc.
• Provides and troubleshoots medical equipment needed for patient transport, including but not limited to oxygen, wheelchairs, gurneys, and IVs.
• Maintains a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures; complies with legal regulations.
• Transport new admissions and occasional discharges.
