Job summary

Rose Meadows Health and Rehab Center in Pittsburgh is seeking a Transportation Assistant to move residents to appointments and activities, and to assist in emergency transport situations. The role supports Life Safety Code compliance and helps maintain the facility as directed by the Maintenance Director.

The position requires a high school diploma, CPR certification (or willingness to obtain), a valid driver’s license, and solid English communication for documentation and safety reporting.

Position Summary:

The primary purpose of your job is to transport residents to and from scheduled appointments, activity functions, and in emergency transport situations as directed. Follows all regulatory and safety policies. You will also assist the Maintenance Director in ensuring the Life Safety Code, physical plant, equipment, grounds and utilities are maintained in good working order and in accordance with community policies, state and federal regulations. Follows all health, sanitary and infection control policies and maintains established standards of practice set forth by the community's administration and Maintenance Policies and Procedures.

Education/Qualifications:

• High school graduate or equivalent is required.
• Must be CPR certified or willing to obtain certification.
• Must possess a valid driver license, in good standing as determined by the Community, and must be a minimum of twenty-five (25) years of age.
• Must demonstrate sufficient English proficiency to understand traffic signs, respond to inquiries, and complete required documentation.
• Must meet Community driver approval process and have related experience at a level necessary to accomplish the job.

Shift & Wage:

• Full-Time Opportunity Available
• Shifts Needed: 7:00a - 3:30p or 8:00a - 4:30p
• Wage: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
