Job summary

Saber Healthcare Group is seeking a dedicated transport coordinator for a skilled nursing facility in Pittsburgh. You will move residents to appointments and activities, and assist with maintaining safety and the physical plant.

Shifts run 7:00a–3:30p or 8:00a–4:30p with a wage of $20.00–$22.00 per hour. CPR cert and valid driver’s license are required, with benefits and a supportive team culture highlighted.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• CPR certification is required or willingness to obtain.
• Valid driver’s license with good standing and must be at least 25 years old.
• Sufficient English proficiency to understand traffic signs, inquiries, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Transport residents to and from scheduled appointments and activities, including emergencies, as directed.
• Assist the Maintenance Director to ensure Life Safety Code, facilities and equipment are maintained.
• Follow health, sanitary and infection control policies and regulatory requirements.

Position Summary

The primary purpose of your job is to transport residents to and from scheduled appointments, activity functions, and in emergency transport situations as directed. Follows all regulatory and safety policies. You will also assist the Maintenance Director in ensuring the Life Safety Code, physical plant, equipment, grounds and utilities are maintained in good working order and in accordance with community policies, state and federal regulations. Follows all health, sanitary and infection control policies and maintains established standards of practice set forth by the community's administration and Maintenance Policies and Procedures.

Education/Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent is required.
• Must be CPR certified or willing to obtain certification.
• Must possess a valid driver license, in good standing as determined by the Community, and must be a minimum of twenty-five (25) years of age.
• Must demonstrate sufficient English proficiency to understand traffic signs, respond to inquiries, and complete required documentation.
• Must meet Community driver approval process and have related experience at a level necessary to accomplish the job.
