Job summary

Arcadia Care is seeking a Transportation Driver to safely transport patients to hospitals, clinics, and residences, ensuring professional service.

You will monitor resident safety during transit, assist with boarding and exits, and perform routine vehicle inspections and paperwork to maintain reliable service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Active Illinois Driver’s License, meeting DOT required vehicle licensure and physical.
• Must be between 25 and 74 per facility insurance requirements.
• Experience as a bus/van driver preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transport residents to and from activities, appointments, and outings in a safe, secure manner.
• Ensure resident safety during boarding, travel, and entry/exit at facilities.
• Maintain vehicle upkeep, inspections, and complete required paperwork.

Job Summary:

The Transportation Driver will provide the transportation of patients to and from hospitals, medical offices, dialysis centers and private residences in a safe, secure, and professional manner.

Essential Duties:

• Provides a high level of customer service and assistance while transporting residents to and from activities, appointments, and other outings in accordance with safety standards.
• Is responsible for the safety of residents at all times. Monitors resident safety on the bus, while boarding and departing the vehicle as well as the entrance and exit of buildings.
• Responsible for general upkeep of the vehicle including inspections, regularly scheduled maintenance, and all required paperwork.
