Riverside Commons is seeking a friendly Transportation Driver to safely transport residents to medical appointments and activities. The ideal candidate will be dependable, punctual, and patient, with the ability to assist seniors and those with mobility needs.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

• Complete required vehicle inspections and transportation documentation.

Our driver is an important part of the resident experience. The ideal candidate will have a welcoming demeanor, excellent attendance, and the patience and compassion needed to assist seniors and individuals with varying mobility needs.

Responsibilities

• -Safely transport residents to and from scheduled appointments and outings
• -Assist residents when entering and exiting the vehicle
• -Properly secure wheelchairs and other mobility equipment
• -Maintain a friendly, patient, and professional demeanorli>
• -Follow transportation schedules and communicate any delays or concerns
• -Keep the facility vehicle clean, fueled, and ready for use
• -Complete required vehicle inspections and transportation documentation
• -Follow all traffic laws, safety procedures, and facility policies

Qualifications

• -Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
• -Dependable, punctual, and committed to maintaining scheduled transportation
• -Friendly and compassionate when interacting with residents and families
• -Comfortable assisting residents with mobility needs
• -Strong communication and customer-service skills
• -Ability to pass all required background checks and screenings
• -Previous transportation, healthcare, or senior-living experience is helpful but not required
